Following the 1972 Columbus underwater marker and the 1973 Peace light Tower, both installed in San Salvador Island, Bahamas, John Vassar House (JVH) continued creating bronzes specifically related to waves, water, tea party cubes, river Arno, sea storms. This style and medium dates between 1967 (the Arno river flooding was in 1966) and 1974 with “Wave” or “Wave Nassau” or “Wave Bahamas”. It is evident that the Hydro Wave and the Laminations styles often overlap.
A Wave named Hokaido was cast in 1972 but unfortunately no records of this sculpture are available.
