Sculptor John Vassar House (JVH) is playing with a wax poured sheet of ¾ mm thickness and its ridge to form a triangular spiral that recalls many aerodynamic forms like airplane wings/tails and jets as well as forces like thrust, lift, weight and drag. The structural balance of the triangle allows for a cantilever balance.

This is a lost wax casting with no hollows and little texture on the big surfaces. For such reason it is a sculptural model intended to be built in steel rather than cast in bronze upon enlargement.
